Walking into a yoga class ten years ago Charis was searching for a new way to train her body and left in awe of the way yoga trained her mind.
Currently employed by an Australian Investment Bank holding a double major in Finance & Economics with an MBA due for completion this year, Charis wants to bring the ancient philosophy of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras to the masses. She understands the stress of a corporate career and has found yoga the fundamental tool used to reduce stress and anxiety. Completing her training in NYC, her style is unique, allowing students to move like themselves. You’ll sweat, laugh and leave with a calm mind and enriched soul. Be prepared for a mix of hypnotic beats and funky tunes, think Beastie Boys meets the Rolling Stones. Dancing is both welcomed and encouraged during class.
